Hello Brothers and Sisters in Christ!<br /><br />Entering God&#039;s Presence<br />Wednesday, February 15, 2023 - Week 4 Questions<br /><br /> Am I being casual about the sin in my life, without regard for God&#039;s holiness?<br /> Do I think I can get God to hear my prayers by doing good deeds--or do I come to Him through Christ alone?<br /> What does it mean that I am in the role of a priest?<br /><br />I am a new woman in Christ. My old sinful nature is passed away, new things I declare and live in my life today. 2 Cor 5:17; Isa 42:9. I do understand that my repentance should bear fruits thereof, and I am to practice not being casual about the sinful nature. Instead, I strive to put on the new woman of God created in righteousness and true holiness. <br /><br />Faith in Christ without works is dead. James 2:26. I consider this scripture a binary truth. No good deeds alone will not have prayers answered. However, I believe our good deeds are a portion of our responsibility as we come to God through Christ. <br /><br />I am in the role of a priest because I have access to God - forgiveness of sin through Jesus Christ, my Lord.
